A similar experience

Last december, I've got a new PC at work (with i7, 16G, 8 cores). After some basic configuration, I backed up C: with GHOST onto D:.
Two weeks ago, I've got some problems. Instead of asking Desktop support (and waiting 1-2 days), I restored C: from the image on D:. It booted properly to the login window. But when I tried to login, got a message saying my PC is no more in the domain. I had to ask Desktop support guys to put the PC back into the domain, an everything is fine after that.
