回複:thanks that's what I need, yet
1. 1st time to know petroit, it is just a realtek based HT player. Now sigma and realtek shares this market, yet, such hardware based box always has limitation, or at least not easy to upgrade for new format. They may not even compete with PS3 as PS3 using more s/w. PS3 does support UPnP - which means it can browse media on PC.
Not like ***** said Petroit net play is beyong UPnP - UPnP= net play + auto handshake. I kind of think PS3 can overplay Petroit.
2. Readynas duo - I see many people complain.
SSD disk - also many complain. Not worth, a 32GB SD card would be better.
I saw ***** in UK uses PlugComputer(SheevaPlug) to build a low power server for home using Linux. 3~5W. Intel ATOM still needs >20W I think.
