You can buy one of the routers can use dd-wrt firmware. you can buy asus rt-n16 for around 80 dollars and flash dd-wrt mega by eko. this router will do amazing things you would never imagine possible. vpn, asterisk pbx, bt download without pc running, printer server, media server........you name it. wifi can be setup dual access points. you have one for yourself and your family and another for your guest. they are able to get on the internet but can not access your home network devices.....
