Go with the tablet if you can.

netbook is something in between. It is too small to be a laptop, and too bulky for portable. The only thing good about it is the better keyboard than the tablet. Sure the tablet don't have one, and that is the one shortcoming don't know how to address. For typing fast, a standard keyboard is still much better.
