Ststus "limited or no connectivity" basically saying no connectionmost routers require configuration.  typically you do this - power up, plug in ethernet one end to router, anothter to pc/loptop.  power up your pc/loptop, launch ie, in address space, enter 192.168.1.xx (xx means any number like 01, 56 and so on - please follow your manual), hit enter.  follow the instruction you shoul dbe all set.
