Very nice, especially #5. Three more essential tips:

1) Set cookies to "Ask me when...". You'll be amazed how many sites want to write to/track your computer!

2) Add Adblock. Add *##Marquee to block the very annoying rolling text.

Right now Chrome is the best because you can release the memory without having to close the browser entirely.
