I don't have this problem. I have a Lenovo s10e.

I install all the programs I want (including English Office, WinRAR), and a few games (Warcraft 3, civilization 4, Rise of Legends, Age of Empires 3, Chessmaster 11, old games). Lenovo s10e is running at 1024x576, so I have problem to run some games (Rise of Nations, Sims 2, need 1024x600).
