i don't know that problem

it is the database file. you first open the application installed on your pc, select homeworks, and select financial, a dialogue box pops up asking you to insert financial cd, you followed these steps, right? of coz you need becker application to open its blb file.
data cd's contain just data, i don't think there is any copyright protective software on data cd's. the copy right protection is only on master cd.
so follow the steps again, also check your dvd-rom to see if it can read other disc.
