computer purchased between July-09 and Jan-10 can get free

Usually computers(desktop/laptop) purchased between July-09 and Jan-10 can get free
upgrade if the computers are new(not refurburished). My acer laptop purchased at the
end of last year. I just submitted a request to Acer web site, then Acer sent
me a copy of win 7 CD.
