I am using an E6500,

with a display of 1440/900. The screen is LED back-lit and is very bright, and the M164 video card allows extension dual screen display, a nice feature. It runs cool too. I like it. However, it has only VGA video (no DVI or HDMI). For personal use, it would be preferable to have HDMI for connection to HD TV or large screen monitor.Bottom line, take 1440/900, if money is not the issue.
