If display source, display device both are native 1080, either way should be clear. HDCP is a copy protection method that prevent digitally recording HD signal.

My DLP is 1080p, looks good. Entry level should be great as well. Yes, I have HDMI or DVI connected to it if my PC has the interface.

From eyesight point of view, DLP is like CRT that the scanning is "continuously" done. LCD's grid is not very obvious, but Plasma TV's grid is annoyingly large to me. I can never bear watching Plasma for long time. LCD TV's biggest problem is the color. The skin tone is just horrible with merely 5 degree off the center axle.
