Windows 7 got much better driver support. The latest one I installed on was complaining about Ethernet driver, motherboard driver, video card driver under XP-64. I then give Win7 a try and EVERYTHING works fine without any driver missing.

So if you are using HP machine, you can search on their site for drivers. Or if it is a popular enough product, you can google on drivers sometimes burried deep under hp.com.

I've downgraded a Vista on a HP to XP, so almost all drivers need to be dug out. Lucky me found a site stating the whole suite.

Win7 will have test version "Win7RC" until next June, why not give it a try? Find on web for BT down since MS stop offering trails.
