this card is probably useless in US anyway

1. It only has analog tuner, meaning it can only receive NTSC(US)/PAL(Europe) signals. Unfortunately US has switched to DTV in June. This card cannot tune in any over-the-air (OTA) broadcast channels in US.

2. This card has no RF input. It cannot hook up to cable outlet.

3. If you have cable/satellite set top box, you can hook up the s-video from your STB to this card. But that is very cumbersome.

Return this card if you still can. I'd recommend getting a Pinnacle HDTV tuner USB stick. WinTV is the best, but costs a more.
