There is a CLR_CMOS jumper on the motherboard.

If DDR2 memory, you can only install them in pairs of the same size. E.g., 512MB=>slot 1, 512MB=>slot2. Or install just one stick. E.g., 512MB=>slot1. Check the manuals for memory configuration.
