Why do you bother with Bestbuy? Call Dell directly to get an opinion. Be warned that you will be on phone for hours. So make yourself a pod of coffee and find a comfortable chair.

All electronic parts will be impacted by high temperature. You can't do anything with it, if the damage is done. Dell people will direct you to run all kinds of diagnostic program, before sending it for repair. Of course you can run the program right now. I don't think the program is that useful.
