If u go & get another board which makes ur sys turn on

Then you know your motherboard is faulty.
But b4 u go that sort of distance, can I suggest that u do the following.
1. Dismantal everything
2. Reseat cpu (also check 2 ensure there's no bent pins)
3. Reseat Ram (use slot 1)
4. Plug in PSU (main plug as well as the 4pin 12v plug)

Then try again, if still no luck then u have faulty hardware.
