Plz help me: unable to connect secure web page using IE7

new laptop: toshiba A205-5803, vista basic home version. could not open any web page(including email, account..) using password to enter.but running well to opening other web page, like news, wenxuecity....
try to check the internet secure setting, but nothing wrong. help please
