Some DVD can play PICTURE

about 30 bucks during the thanksgiving, now u can get at $40. then just put all jpg picture files like a normal file to the CD. The DVD player can play picture one by one, or you can control the step, plus ZOOM, and PAN, the CDs can be treated as extra storage of your pictures.
