DSL Modem-》Wifi Router-》Ur PCs

My laptop has Wi-fi.
Your setup make PC and laptop connected via internet, which is not secure and not recommended by MS.
What I want is a LAN behind DSL Modem. I tried following setup: DSL Modem=>hub=>Wifi Router, but the hub could not connect to internet.
