I tried, but it still didn't work. From "dmesg" command, it showed that "forcedeth" has been mapped to eth0, but if I tried to activate eth0, it just said "Determing IP address for eth0 ... failed". BTW, if I use static IP addressing, the system can ping its own IP, but not the gateway, or other IPs in my LAN.
