that doesn't mean anything

By default, XP waits for 4 secs before printing timeout msg. att-gw.sjc.chinatelecomusa.com probably is the gw between att and china telecom. It takes more than 4 secs to get response back. I need to know if the log you posted before was captured while the pc's connected to the router...
