Solution:
This problem happens when Norton program files are damaged. To replace damaged program files, remove and then reinstall your Norton program.

To remove and reinstall your Norton program

Find your installation CDs or the installation files that you downloaded.
Remove your Norton program. For how to remove Norton programs, read Removing your Norton program using SymNRT.
Reinstall your Norton program
