legal versions of Windows, I don't bother upgrading the system that often. Most of the time, you get more headaches from upgrading than being caught with a virus or something (and if you're careful enough, the latter rarely happens :-). By the way, a hint: if it really comes to a severe security hole, MS has the obligation to provide the patch for every copy (please take note, every copy, legal or illegal, from my understanding) of Windows. The secret is how you do the upgrade, though :-).
