After I connected to a remote console, I picked one virtual machine as my workstation. If I want to test something here, should I move my files from host computer to certain location on workstation or on virtual server?

My question might not be clear for you because I don't think I have a good idea about how to work with virtual machine.

With your previous reply, I have an idea about what the virtual machine is, but I am still confuse where the files should be put, workstation or virtual server.
