Also, unless it's MIT, Carnegie Mellon or Stanford's computer science, other well-ranked school's computer programs wouldn't make much difference. So UAB is pretty good. In terms of name, UAB will be more well known than Akron in my opinion. If money is a concern, Birmingham is pretty big but living cost is relatively low taking consideration of its size. Also, Birmingham has many Chinese restaurants and it is easy to find job. I heard in a lot of cities, it's not easy to find even a Chinese restaurant job.
