中醫有望聞問切四診，其實西醫也有四診IPPA，讀並州客的貼有感

西醫的四診是：

Key IPPA Clinical Examination Skills

• Inspection: Observation of the patient for physical signs, symmetry, and color.
• Palpation: Using touch to examine texture, temperature, tenderness, and organ location.
• Percussion: Tapping body surfaces to assess underlying tissue density and air content (e.g., resonance or dullness).
• Auscultation: Using a stethoscope to listen to body sounds (heart, lung, bowel) for abnormalities.

但隨著現代科學技術的發展和在醫學領域的應用，西醫越來越重視通過機器和化驗來進行檢查，如並州客貼中所示，一部分醫生的手上的功夫變得很差了。

許多年前我寫過，一位美國白人著名心血管專家1990年代初訪問中國一個三甲醫院，他不用心電圖儀器，通過觸摸病人頸部血管（號脈）就可以知道病人心髒的問題，讓中國同行們看得目瞪口呆。

這樣的西醫可能已經沒有了。
