If your future employers ask your manager

as your reference, just say I don't think it is a good idea to put him/her as my reference, because s/he is an a******, be VERY confident and positive, and give the reason why.

It is your chance to convince your future employer you had a BAD manager in the past. There are lots bad manager everywhere.

I don't think it is good idea to come back since the relationship has been ruined on both sides.

At one point in time, I asked one of the managers to get out of my office :-), it worked really well since he was really BAD manager. LOL
