Data analyst 的意思可以有很多

人謙虛，無論是啥工作頭銜，都自稱是 analyst，因為人整的是數據 -- 俺的關於 analytics 的定義：

“Using analytical tools, mainly SAS and R, digging out information embedded in data mainly through metrics construction, to deliver intelligence for business decision and operations support”

人為了讓員工高興，把接線生的 job title 叫做 analyst 也可以 -- because they need to assess what kind of issue you've got, which also relates to information, at least acquisition of information.

不要隻看頭銜，要看工作內容，以及內容對工作技能和經驗的要求，以及總體上這些東東的市場價值。
