You mean e-mail, instead of letter, right?

How do you find their e-mail address if it is just a phone interview? Even on-site interview, are you suppoesed to exchange business cards? Otherwise, how do you get their e-mail addresses?
I once tried to ask somebody I know from the company to give me their e-mail address, but refused citing company policy...
