everybody has his own understanding on friendship, nothing is absolutely right or wrong. As friends, one should respect others. If that friend chooses one way to act, just respect him/her. Some of the things you mentioned as "陋習" are actully real things in my eye. You may not choose people like me to be your friend, but you should respect people like me to have my own understanding on what friendship should be. If you see too many 陋習 on people around you, that is exactly the first step to distroy being friend or being coorporative. If you do not like something, please be careful to use strong words like " 陋習"; u r offending people like me. I respect ur choice.
