50歲大媽丟IT工作 求建議

I'm a 50 years old woman with 15+ years’ experience in database area and 5+ year’s hands on skills in ASP.Net C#. Unfortunately, I have been laid off since 2 months ago and only get a few responses from my 40+ job applications.  

I feel very frustrated and really need to earn money for my family. Is this the time that I have to switch my career from IT?

Could anyone give me some suggestions to help me break the neck of bottle?
