Advice needed

I had an interview with a finance manager for a financial analyst position last week and knew one of my former boss's boss is CFO here, I workd for him for about 14 monthes many years ago and left because of long communte. I was told I will meet with him if I am selected for second interview . Should I let him know this? Does that help me or hurt me. Our relationship is OK at that time.
