1). A higher hourly rate is perhaps only a consolation prize and not sure that is good enough for me at this point.

2). I tried socializing but, as you said, it is kind of hard. Culturally I am still largely Chinese (left China after college) and I am also potically more in the middle as opposed to the far right as my boss and his "boys". I cannot in good conscience agree that Obama was a communist, and I cannot laugh at the gay jokes they tell when we drink at the bar.
