you need to think:
1. Why do you want your boss/colleagues like you in workforce? Does that make you feel secure or good when people like you and you might be nervous when people don't talk to you much?
2. Do you want them to like you or you want them to respect you? Do you want them to like your capability by doing your job or you want them to like you as a nice person?
Once you think about these questions, you will find out what you really want. If you want people like your capability, then look at the first answer. If you want people like to work with you, then look at the second answer.
