I work in a public trade company as temp as well. They are cheap

They hire a lot of temp or co-op( without any pay). Any party they have, they wont invite you. If they will have party for the rest of the day, they will ask the temp go home because they are saving " wages".

I think I learned my lesson, never never temp with any company....
