I have seen people could not get the bonus in similar situation more than they actually got it. I know it's unfair.

The bonus typically pays in months from January to April. May is the month to see hike on job transfer and relocation.  People will collect the bonus first then move on. You should have resigned after the bonus or negotiate with the new company for compensation, if they want you so urgently.
