It depends on the company.

The company I am working for is pretty small and it provides web solution to its clients. So we need to meet deadline all the time. My average hours was about 9hrs/day. And everyday I need a really early start - I was required to be in the office before 8:00PM.

During the time for my last project, I was working about 10 hours a day.

Pretty exausted especially under bad management.
