I need a career in BA or SA, what should I do? any advise welcom

I graduated from university here, have been working for 4 years, no improvement in career, very confused…

major is finance and information system

 

Now working in the call center doing point of sale technical support

 

I don’t like call center at all, high volume calls, non stop talking, high pressure, no flexible work schedule – sometimes need to work in the weekends, little $ - not even enough to support parents immigration application, also very high competition due to very limited senior positions available and large number of employees

 

If I am keep working on this position, might end up with no further career improvements. :-(

 

My plan is to move up to the position of system analyst or business analyst, but my work experiences in the past are not related to the SA or BA, but I am sure with more education plus related experiences I should be able to go for this kind of positions. Any body knows what kind of study should I go for? For finance I know there is CFA I can do, or FRM. But if I study those certificates, am I gonna get the role of BA or SA? Do I need to study some database related courses, btw I study some database courses and basic programming already in the university.

 

I am no longer young – close to 30, kinda lazy to study, but if study can lead me to my dream career then I have no choice, I have to go for it. :-(
