Should I ask a promotion?

I have been working in the company for over 5 years as senior analyst, work 4 days a week, get out office at 5PM. I think I have enough knowlege and experience to be a manager, but do not want to lose my well balanced life, definitely not looking for to be a workaholic. In this case shall I ask for a promotion?
