Boss does not necessarily reply to you.

After my small boss changed his job two months ago, my big boss who is in charge of about 35 persons asked me to report to him directly.

I email him 5-10 times a day about what I plan to do, what I'm doing right away and what I've done. He once said he recieved about 400 emails a day. Sometimes he sends me a few emails a day but the other time none.

You send him emails just to let him know that you exist in his team. That's enough.

You only need to care about the two paychecks a month, nothing more.
