You should say "my boss wants to lead it by himself and I think he will do a wonderful job". you should not be unhappy at all.

did you support your boss 100% for the project???? If you can finish it on time, you should support ur boss to finish it.

"我老板同我談希望我能給他做.我不同意也不能理解他"
why not? how can you not understand? it's his destiny to finish this project, and you should let him lead and support him 110%.

wow, how can you do such a thing!!!

"我不想傷害我的老板,沒想到事情會到HR"
You are hurting your boss deeply, most importantly, in front of his boss. HR is no issue.

I don't know what to say. You should really have a nice chat with your boss and show him that you will support him 120% to finish the project.
