The new hirer joined our group one year ago. My boss' boss promoted the new hirer, witch made a lot of "old" people angry.

Could you believe it. I talked with my manager. He mentioned that my current job is more challenging than the new hirer's position. My manager told me that I am doing exactly what he did few years ago as VP level. His boss made the decision because the neew hirer is bored and need to be rotated to a new position.

I agree that my job is more challenging than other positions. I build up good relationship with majority coworkers. The new hirer is always trying to show off that she is better than others. Not a lot of people like her. However, she is really smart to build up good relationship with managers. She don't even waste her time to talk to lower level coworkers.

I feel better now because sometimes you have to be honest to yourself and fight your rights in the smart way.
