該不該ask for high salary?

剛接到一個contract to hire 的offer.定了hourly salary.比我ask的還多$2/per hour.我猜是因為有個third party agent involved and the agent 幫我爭來的。這個agent 又打電話來問我對permanent salary 的request 是多少，我就告訴了他一個數字，他又給我加了5000.多拿工資我當然沒意見，可是這會不會影響到我轉permanent的機會呢？

我能理解why the agent fighted for my hourly wage? why he also cares about the permanant salary? would that be possible that those agents also get some benefit from my permanent salary? 我不想被這個agent 當槍使.

我在interview 的時候和我的future manager聊起過這個agent,他說this agent wants to be involved in the whole process and he (the manager) is happy with the agent because he （the agent) brought me to them.他這麽一說，我就不能再說什麽了。

我該怎樣處理這個問題：我就想讓這個manager 理解， I am really appreciate this chance to work for this company and I am willing to take a lower salary if the salary becomes an issue for them. 我能直接和這個manager 談嗎？當然，如果salary is not an issue, of course I like the higher salary better. 這好像很subtle,我怕我處理不好，懇請大家給出出點子。謝謝！
