Unfair Treatment at Job. What to do? Please help.
Sorry I type Chinese very slowly, English is not all that good neither. Please bear with me.
The story is about my hu*****and's job. He works for a startup company that's doing quite well in Northern California. He has good relationship with his immediate manager, but bad relationship with his director, an old, mean spirited lady according to him. This lady does not respect any employees, she always make comments such as "if you make a mistake again, I will fire you!" "Is this a personal phone call you are taking? You are not suppose to take personal phone call, I will fire you!" "Go open your own company if you lose your job!" She's in total disregard to other people's feelings. Pretty much all the employees are disgusted with her except her own people that she brought in. But no one wants to offend her because of fear of losing job. My hu*****and is a a very straight forward person, and does not know how to pretend well when he's upset, I guess that's how he offended her when she made some nesty comments. This old lady also hates my hu*****and's immediate manager as well since he is not one of her own people. my hu*****and takes care many things for his manager, and since he does more than other people, he tends to make more mistakes too (做多錯多), but nothing major, or unfixable. So the director uses that as an excuse to request the manager to write him up. But the manager did not, and he also kind of got in trouble because of that. Now it's at year end review, my hu*****and got the least shares of stock among all his team members because the old lady got involved with the stock option granting. His manager feels very sorry since my hu*****and does much more work than other team member, and although he's favored by his manager, but the manager has no power to help.
Sorry about the long story, but just seeking some suggestions as what to do in this case. 天天咒那個老女人死也不是回事兒。另外我們也沒這麽毒。 隻好請大家幫忙想辦法。先謝謝。
