my suggestion...

1. unlock any chances that block your way in communication;
2. improve your interpersonal skills;
3. actively join group seminars -- techy or non-techy to gain your self-esteems/confidence;
4. choose group/instructor-led learning rather than self-paced/e-learning method;
5. understand your subject/goal -- the nature of the business rather than just the techy concepts;
6. does DATA good for you, or you are good with DATA?
