two questions - please help..

1. i got a 2nd round on-site interview with a I.T consulting company.. the recruter didn't tell me much detail it's a consulting company in the first place so that's why i went through the first on site interview ...if i really am not comfortable with consulting (too much travel..i have small kids at home), should i just turn down the 2nd round on site interview? if so, will that make the recruter angry and not wanting to introduce me more opportunities?

2. if i get a contract offer which i am interested.. but prefer more on a full-time position, how should i deal with it? i can certainly at least orally accept the contract offer, correct? can i signed the contract in written first and later on if i have better opportunity i just withdraw? is there any legal issues or fine associated with that?
