go to take some accounting courses if u r interested

at least, that can help u get a job to support ur basic life expenses. Personally, I think gaining technical skills is the most important for a foreigner in USA. That is the basis for foreigners to survive in USA.

also, u can keep looking for jobs related to interpreter if u r really interested in it. I know a guy who is from Iraqi and was an interpreter for USA military in Iraqi war, no other skills, he was in teh same desperate mood as u when he came to USA. now he got a job as interpreter in US government, the income is very high!!
