internal auditor position's career path? Thanks a lot

我在有4年的big 4審計工作經驗，生完孩子後被雷。現在找了一個internal auditor position，要50%出差。我不太清楚將來的發展，also I think I will not be able to take care of my little baby with that much traveling. 準備請個保姆。我勞工說隻有他一個人工作不夠養家。 ：-（ sigh.

I don't want to travel for all my life. Is there anyone in the internal auditor side could share some thoughts. What kind of position I could take after several years of internal auditor working experience. 我怕如果走上了這個track, 將是一條不歸路。It will be hard to make the work life balance. anyway, there is a lot of things out of our control.

I am afraid that if I take that offer, I will have to travel forever unless I become the lead of the audit group. The company said that after 2 years I will have opportunity to move to other business side, but I am not sure whether it is true.
