You can not imigine how hard it cab be to take care of two kids with a full-time job, either for you or for yourself.If you work on the tenure for five years, or six,i tis pretty much like hell for those years. YOu might think being a professor is more glamous than a Postdoc, but it is more demanding too.

I would stay with the fmaily, and look for any possibility nearby. Do not worry about your hubby losing job, because you simply could not control it.
