1099 Tax form means you are a 100% contractor, you get what you are payed, no more.

How much $$ per hour depends on what skill you have and what kind of industry you are in.

For work in the restaurant, $50/hr is a very good pay.

If you can get $75 per hour, go get or ask for it.

Be happy with what you get and choose what you want to do.
